What does aromatic woods smell like?
Aromatic woods suggests a woody structure with fresher herbal, spicy or resinous facets. It is a direction rather than one standard accord. Compared with an unspecified woody note, the word aromatic points to a more lifted, fragrant top around the grain.

The material behind the impression
This is a descriptive accord category, not a botanical species or exact material. A perfume may combine different natural and synthetic materials to achieve it. The label cannot establish particular woods, herbs or resins unless those are separately recorded.

Its place in the composition
Aromatic woods can extend grapefruit and ginger into a dry base without losing the opening’s clarity. Bergamot echoes the freshness, while musk softens the frame. It commonly supports the finish, but the aromatic facet may be noticeable much earlier.
