What does melon smell like?
Melon often feels watery, gently sweet and spacious rather than rich or jammy. Depending on the accord it may suggest orange-fleshed melon, green rind or a more abstract aquatic fruit. That airiness can make a floral heart feel lighter.

The material behind the impression
Melon notes are usually composed from aroma materials, some of which also have watery or marine associations. A note does not identify a particular fruit variety or prove natural extract. Melon and sea notes remain separate references despite possible shared facets.

Its place in the composition
Melon supplies a fresh contrast to spices, jasmine and woods. Citrus keeps it brisk, while musk gives it softness. Its effect may appear in the opening or heart, where it can open up a dense composition without adding sharp citrus acidity.
