What does whipped cream smell like?
Whipped cream is a soft gourmand impression: milky, rounded and airy rather than toasted or caramelised. Its perceived sweetness depends on surrounding vanilla, sugar and fruit notes. The appeal is a plush creamy texture, not necessarily a strong dairy smell.

The material behind the impression
A whipped-cream note is a constructed accord. Lactonic, sweet and soft aroma materials can suggest its texture; the note does not mean edible cream or milk is present in a perfume. It is kept distinct from the broader lactones category, which covers many creamy and fruity effects.

Its place in the composition
Whipped cream rounds a gourmand dry down and gives berries a softer backdrop. Vanilla adds warmth, raspberry provides brighter contrast and musk extends the smooth impression. Together they can evoke a creamy texture without turning every supporting note into a food ingredient.
