The idea

This is one of the gentlest layering combinations: musk gives vanilla a clean, skin-like texture and stops it feeling too sugary.

Think warm cashmere rather than cake: a smooth, slightly powdery sweetness that hovers around you instead of projecting.

Musk adds diffusion and a fresh-laundry softness; vanilla adds warmth and body. Together they create a “my skin but better” effect.

How to layer

    Apply the musk first over moisturised skin, then a single spray of vanilla on top. Add more musk, not more vanilla, if it starts to feel too sweet.

    Spray onto pulse points (wrists, neck, inner elbows) from about 15 cm away. Do not rub: it dulls the top notes.

  3. 03

    Start with fewer sprays than you would wear of one perfume. Two extraits together can be intense; build up over a few days of wear.
