What does orange blossom smell like?
Orange blossom is a flower note, not the smell of orange juice. It can be luminous, honeyed and richly white-floral, with green edges and sometimes an indolic warmth. Some accords feel airy; others are almost narcotic beside vanilla or marshmallow.

The material behind the impression
The bitter orange blossom supplies both distilled neroli oil and richer orange blossom extracts. These are related but not interchangeable materials. Orange flower is treated as a wording equivalent here; regional adjectives are retained in product evidence without being taken as proof of sourcing.

Its place in the composition
Orange blossom commonly anchors a floral heart. Neroli can introduce it with a fresher green opening, while honey or vanilla makes it warmer. In a gourmand composition, the flower gives sweetness a floral identity rather than leaving it as a simple sugar effect.
