Oud + Sandalwood
Desert Oud & Blue Ember
Desert Oud: inspired by Oud Wood · Blue Ember: inspired by Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum
Layering guide / Oud
Two woods, one rich and smoky, one creamy and calm.
A scent-profile suggestion based on recorded notes and how they typically behave, not a combination Beautys has tested on skin. Try it on your wrists first.

01
This woody-on-woody pairing works because the two woods are so different: oud is dark and animalic, sandalwood is soft and milky.
02
A deep, smooth wood that starts smoky and dries down creamy.
03
Sandalwood rounds oud’s sharper edges, making the oud smoother for daytime, while oud adds depth to sandalwood.
How to layer
Best for: autumn and winter · evening, work, winter.
Spray sandalwood first as a soft base, then a single spray of oud over the top.
Spray onto pulse points (wrists, neck, inner elbows) from about 15 cm away. Do not rub: it dulls the top notes.
Start with fewer sprays than you would wear of one perfume. Two extraits together can be intense; build up over a few days of wear.
