The idea

If you love vanilla but find it heavy in warm weather, bergamot is the easiest way to lighten it.

A sparkling, slightly bitter citrus opening that melts into soft vanilla, a little like Earl Grey with cream.

How to layer

Apply in this order.

    Apply vanilla first, then the bergamot-led fragrance over the top so the citrus is what you notice first.

    Spray onto pulse points (wrists, neck, inner elbows) from about 15 cm away. Do not rub: it dulls the top notes.

    Start with fewer sprays than you would wear of one perfume. Two extraits together can be intense; build up over a few days of wear.
