Beautys perfume pairing

Hot Chemistry & Prime Instinct

Both list cinnamon, lavender and amber, which gives the two layers a shared thread rather than two competing ideas. Prime Instinct adds a woody & sophisticated side through sandalwood and vetiver, which Hot Chemistry does not list.

A scent-profile suggestion based on recorded notes and how they typically behave, not a combination Beautys has tested on skin. Try it on your wrists first.

01

What it may smell like

On paper, expect an opening of black pepper, bergamot and mandarin that settles towards vanilla, chestnut and amber. How it develops depends on your skin, the number of sprays and the weather.

02

How to apply

Apply Prime Instinct first, as the richer base, to pulse points. Let it settle for a minute, then add one or two sprays of Hot Chemistry over the top. Start with fewer sprays than you would wear of one perfume: two extraits together can be intense.

Notes in gold appear in both perfumes.
